Representing and Advising Schools & School Leaders
Our school attorney, Dr. Randy J. Harvey, holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy and Management from the University of Oregon and a Masters in Education from Eastern Oregon University, in addition to his law degree. He has also held Oregon Superintendent, Administrator and teaching credentials. For twenty-five years before starting to practice law he was a school administrator in Oregon Schools, large and small. He provides advice from the perspective of having been in the manager and administrator’s chair responsible for the entire school community: children, teachers, staff, parents, and the community. Dr. Harvey brings a unique and important perspective to advising school boards and administrators having taught school law, ethics, policy, and labor relations at the university level as well as serving as a school administrator for twenty-five years; twelve-years directly advising local school boards in policy and employee matters.
